Kaknästornet

Kaknästornet

Kaknästornet, Stockholm tv-tower, 155 meter high with the best view of Stockholm, day and night, summer and winter, rain or shine, offers a unique environment for both ordinary days as partys. Enjoy our tv-tower restaurant Stockholm, café, skybar, viewpoint and souvernir shop.

The tower, at 155 meters, was finished in 1967 as a centre of tv- and radio traffic, and is still today along with even more ways to distribute information, under supervision by Teracom, see link below. A classic building of the 60´s, with reliefs of tv- and radio waves on the outside. Built on old royal ground "Djurgården", where the medievel village Kaknäs, which means isthmus with good harvest, has given name to the tv-tower Kaknästornet. It is also a part of a greater area called Eko park - the worlds first national city park.
